Description

• Spool, cut, and label wire according to prints and shop standards
• Assemble and wire electrical panels and prefab assemblies
• Use hand and power tools (benders, drills, impacts, cutters, saws, etc.)
• Follow all shop safety procedures and quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation
• Perform additional prefab shop tasks as assigned
• Provide positive customer service

Requirements

FSG is seeking an Experienced Prefab Electrical Apprentice for its San Antonio Prefab Shop. This shop‑based role focuses on building high‑quality electrical assemblies that support construction projects and does not involve field work. The position is ideal for an apprentice with hands‑on prefab or commercial electrical experience who can contribute immediately in a fast‑paced production environment.

Applicants must hold a current State Apprentice Electrician license, have a high school diploma or GED, and be able to pass a background check. A valid driver’s license, 2–4 years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask and maintain organization are required. Candidates should include in their résumé the years of electrical experience, prefab or shop work, conduit sizes bent, tools used, and any panel or assembly experience.

• Bend and assemble EMT conduit (½”–1¼”, including offsets and saddles)
• Hold a High School Diploma or GED
• Possess a current State Apprentice Electrician license
• Pass a background screening
• Maintain a valid driver’s license
• Demonstrate ability to multitask while staying organized
• Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills
• Have 2–4 years of relevant electrical experience
