The Outsourced Technical Services (OTS) Department at PM Group partners with global leaders across multiple industries to source the right talent for current and future business needs. Working on a client site in Cork, the Process Project Engineer will lead the design of Strategic Capital Programs that support capacity growth and business continuity planning. The role involves senior‑level communication and coordination with external agencies to ensure compliance with planning laws and regulations.
In this position you will drive end‑to‑end delivery of capital projects, supervising design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover while applying engineering, regulatory and environmental best practices. You will also lead multidisciplinary teams, manage health and safety compliance, and maintain project schedules and budgets throughout the lifecycle.
The ideal candidate holds a degree in Chemical, Process, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and brings at least ten years of process‑industry engineering experience, including operations or maintenance exposure and extensive capital project management. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required to work effectively at all levels of an international organization. Proven expertise in process plant standards, project concept development, business case approval, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, validation, and HSE management is essential.
