Define project responsibilities for management, engineering and field staff
Support and provide input to development strategies, goals, and objectives specific to project execution at each project phase
Develop and implement a comprehensive construction plan
Assist the business development team by responding to requests for proposal and bid process
Effectively communicate with all relevant outside parties , including the General Contractor, Architect, Engineer, Owner, and other stakeholders
Prepare and supervise the preparation of Logs and Reports including submittals, operation & maintenance manuals, expediting reports, change order log, RFI log, correspondence log, etc.
Develop and manage project plans, schedules and scopes of work
Monitor, control and report the financial performance of the project
Monitor project progress to anticipate potential problems
Identify required resources to achieve project goals
Assess any potential job cost impacts. Submit, negotiate and track all change orders requests.
Assume financial responsibility for project including accurate, timely and relevant reporting to stakeholders
Monitor and proof change issue log.
Deliver accurate and timely data to support project forecasts
Establish and lead associated meetings
Generate documentation for preliminary assessments, technical solutions, fee proposals, presentations, studies, and general support
Transition project management and engineer activities from design to construction phase and construction to completion phase
Review and approve subcontractor billings
Draft subcontracts and purchase agreements
Assess site safety by implementing actions to prevent injury to property and personnel and ensuring safety compliance of subcontractors and all on-site personnel
Document and resolve subcontractor and vendor billing issues
Oversee purchasing by ensuring all material and equipment is purchased in a timely and cost-effective manner
Review resources including contracts, drawings, specifications and other documents to answer questions in a timely manner
Develop project staffing plans to include labor, subcontractors, etc.
Coach and mentor project team members
Prepare client and subcontractor change orders
Represent Dynalectric at after hour industry functions
Facilitate invoice payments from clients and to subcontractors
Evaluate bid estimates, develop cost codes, establish definitive budgets, develop manpower plan with Superintendents, and monitor field labor progress
Prepare and supervise the preparation of Job Start and Project Closeout materials

Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products
Good math/accounting skills
At least 10 years of progressively responsible project management experience
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to develop and/or maintain relationships with clients
Exhibit strong leadership qualities
Estimating skills including knowledge of Accubid
PE, CPM, LEED professional designations is preferred
Demonstrate an understanding of accounting and financial management preferred.
Strong management skills
Excellent decision making/problem solving skills
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent work experience required.
Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times
