Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk environment.
Perform all specified day-closing and night audit procedures to prepare the hotel for the next business day, including preliminary reconciliations, detailing transactions, and submitting final reports to accounting and applicable profit centers.
Reconcile cashier reports with the restaurant system each night, researching, resolving, and posting any unresolved tickets from day shifts.
Manage differing personalities within the property, the resort, and the community
Prepare, review, and distribute accurate daily financial and operational reports for hotel management.
Balance and audit room revenue, food and beverage revenue, banquet revenue, cashier reports, and guest and house accounts to ensure accuracy; maintain and post daily balances in accordance with established procedures.
Accurately post charges, collect and verify methods of payment, process payments, and address guest billing inquiries or discrepancies.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and cash-handling guidelines.
Greet and interact with guests in person and over the phone, delivering exceptional, personalized customer service in alignment with Epicurean Hotel standards.
Monitor hotel activity during overnight hours to ensure guest safety and security; report any suspicious activity or unusual items in guest rooms or common areas to hotel leadership and/or the loss prevention team.
Respond to and resolve guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally using established empowerment guidelines.
Process overnight check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and mobile arrivals by assigning rooms, producing room keys, escorting guests when appropriate, and assisting with luggage as needed.
