Field Technicians use EquipmentShare’s proprietary T3 platform to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track service intervals, order parts, and diagnose issues across hundreds of makes and models. They apply safe job practices, leverage laptops and tablets, and perform complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel repairs with a high degree of independent judgment.

- Travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance as needed
- Maintain service vehicle in a clean and professional manner
- Participate in year‑round company‑provided OEM training

Required qualifications include strong mechanical aptitude, tool ownership, extensive knowledge of construction equipment and schematics, and excellent communication skills. A high school diploma (or trade certificate) and field service experience are preferred, along with a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lb, and compliance with safety‑sensitive requirements such as a drug screen.
- Use laptops and tablets comfortably for job tasks
- Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements (preferred)
- Own tools applicable to the position
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
- Extensive knowledge of construction equipment and schematics/diagrams
- Superior customer service, teamwork, and communication skills
- High school diploma (trade school certificate preferred)
- Field service, maintenance, and repair experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable record; at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle
- Ability to move, stand, stoop, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Clean‑shaven requirement for certain worksites
- Pass a 10‑panel drug screen (safety‑sensitive position)
