The intern will work alongside LVCK senior designers and the senior project manager, with design reviews from LVCK principals. Interns learn by doing the full range of environmental graphic design tasks—from concepting and design development to creating physical mock‑ups. They handle varied projects, meet deadlines, sketch, write, document, and discuss work with colleagues and clients, and are encouraged to join the firm’s extracurricular activities.
Applicants should demonstrate graphic, spatial, and verbal thinking, a curiosity for the built environment, wayfinding, navigation, and information design, and a passion for graphic design and branding. Strategic thinking, interest in materials and processes, and fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) are essential, while 3D modeling or motion/animation experience is a plus.
A graphic design intern will work solely with the LVCK team while gaining exposure to the 130+‑person New York office and company‑wide educational sessions. The studio’s work spans 2D and 3D applications, including signage, wayfinding, environmental graphics, print, and digital design for clients such as healthcare facilities, museums, state parks, libraries, cultural centers, and Ivy League campuses.
The salary is commensurate with experience, ranging from $18 to $24 per hour. Qualified candidates should submit a resume, cover letter, and portfolio. Beyer Blinder Belle is an equal‑opportunity employer committed to a diverse and inclusive workforce.
