What you would be doing

  • Record and monitor property operating expenses, utilities, maintenance, and contractor invoices.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for the AM leadership team, sub-committees, and the Board as needed.
  • Maintain accurate asset registers, rental schedules, financial records and internal control procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation of rent reviews, in compliance with lease terms
  • Pro-active in the development of key partnerships, working with key stakeholders to ensure effective coordination, delivery of services and growth opportunities for the organisation.
  • Support both internal and external audit requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of all income and expenditure related to managed residential and commercial properties.
  • Prepare weekly/ monthly reports for internal meetings and project reviews as required.
  • To ensure the LDA are compliant with all statutory, contractual, Health and Safety legislation and relevant regulators requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation of property budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Liaise with tenants, contractors, and service suppliers regarding payments, charges, and accounts queries.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, lease agreements, and statutory obligations.
  • Process and reconcile property income, service charge, and property-related income.
  • Proactively Develop Technical, Management and Leadership skills to ensure career development.
  • Reconcile arrears and liaise with relevant property managers and letting manager on overdue accounts.
  • Provide administrative and financial support to the wider Asset Management team.
  • Support the calculation and reconciliation of service charge accounts.

  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal in both day-to-day work as well as formal briefings.
  • Excellent attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritise effectively.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment.
  • ATI (Level 6) qualified, or equivalent
  • Familiarity with lease structures, rent, service charges, and property-related financial processes required.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working within a similar role in a property, real estate, asset management or related organisation.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
