The Preservationist is responsible for preservation, packing, labeling, receipt, accountability, issuing, and shipping of equipment, along with related clerical duties. The role may involve using automated systems and specialized equipment, and includes additional manual tasks as directed.
Candidates must be high‑school graduates (or equivalent) with at least five years of related experience and must have completed the Enlisted Warehouseman Basic Course and Packaging Technology/Administration courses, or their equivalents. They need working knowledge of state, federal, and DoD regulations, preservation methods, and the ability to operate motorized material‑handling equipment, lift 50 lb, hold a valid driver’s license, and possess U.S. citizenship with a CAC.
