- Oversee daily shop operations, including inventory control and organization.
- Conduct monthly shop housekeeping and safety inspections.
- Provide recommendations on equipment and fleet purchases, as well as major repair needs.
- Inspect equipment upon arrival and departure; assist with or perform required maintenance and repairs.
- Support and monitor light-duty employees to ensure compliance with work restrictions.
- Manage onsite dumpsters and oversee proper disposal of job site debris.
- Monitor and manage vehicle maintenance logs to schedule regular service and necessary repairs.
- Manage yard materials, including storage and organization.
- Maintain the shop grounds, electric fencing, and parking areas.
- Perform routine maintenance of shop and office facilities to ensure a clean, functional environment.
- Coordinate scheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs for major equipment and machinery.
- Collaborate with vendors to identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate favorable pricing.
- Enforce company policies and safety standards related to equipment use and storage.
- Order, track, and maintain small tools, power tools, and other miscellaneous equipment.
- Complete additional tasks and projects assigned by the Executive Team.

- Able to pass a DOT (Department of Transportation) medical examination.
- Proficient with basic computer operations and software applications
- Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions
- Frequently lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted.
- Ability to be on your feet throughout an 8-hour day.
- Bilingual (Spanish speaking) is a plus.
- A valid driver’s license in good standing
- 1+ years of experience in a construction environment
