In this role you will conduct site audits, assist field engineers, track quantities and productivity, prepare reports, maintain project documentation, and provide technical support to field staff and subcontractors, all while working with minimal supervision.
- Conduct site audits and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly reports to project staff and stakeholders.
- Assist Field Engineers and Superintendents with day‑to‑day tasks and technical support.
- Perform quantity take‑offs, tracking, and productivity analysis to maximize operational efficiency.
- Monitor project schedules, progress, and job‑cost reporting; provide data for month‑end reconciliation.
- Maintain project files, correspondence, and assist in preparing engineering drawings and bill of materials.
- Support the preparation of detailed construction and design estimates.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal departments to facilitate project flow.
- Provide administrative support as required while working with minimal supervision.
- Provision of accessibility accommodations throughout the hiring process and responsible use of AI screening tools.

Candidates must be enrolled in a civil engineering or construction management program, have construction industry exposure, a valid driver’s licence, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and basic knowledge of AutoCAD or Bluebeam. Strong communication, organizational skills, a solid work ethic, and the ability to work in varied climates and flexible shifts are essential, as is willingness to travel or relocate and pass a drug and alcohol test.
- Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering or Construction Management diploma program.
- Possess construction industry experience and basic knowledge of equipment, drawings, and standards.
- Hold a valid driver’s licence with a clean abstract.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word); basic AutoCAD or Bluebeam skills are a plus.
- Demonstrate strong oral and written communication, organization, and time‑management abilities.
- Exhibit a strong work ethic, adaptability to varied climates, and willingness to work flexible shifts.
- Able to travel or relocate for the position and pass a pre‑employment drug and alcohol test.
