Exercise extreme caution near or around any utility facility and follow all applicable job site safety practices
Mark said utilities with flags and/or paint and produce a sketch of results for future use by the client.
Provide underground utility flagging “designation” with proficiency, utilizing ground penetrating radar and electromagnet equipment and other geophysical means.
Operate vacuum excavation truck and other related equipment or “hand dig” to verify utility characteristics.
Assist with maintenance of vehicles/trucks, equipment, and work sites.
Research all utilities that may be on a site prior to entering the site.
Designate all utility line types of conductive or non-conductive materials including water, sewer, gas, electric, fiber optic, PVC, and all other underground facilities that would affect excavation of a site

Ability to carry and lift equipment as needed on the project.
Obtain a clear understanding of ASCE 38-02 standards and Quality Levels and their applications
Experience with electromagnetic and geophysical designating technologies is a plus
Basic computer skills; Ability to learn and understand new software.
Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) preferred
Must be able to pass Military / Government Background checks.
High School and/or specialized training from a vocational or technical school
Valid driver’s license with approved/acceptable driving history required.
