The position is a member of Caterpillar’s IT Data Integration team, providing integration expertise, development, and validation for Finance business partners. The role works closely with integration architects, SME analysts, support and demand teams, and internal stakeholders to deliver enterprise‑wide data integrations.
Key responsibilities include delivering finance systems and supporting Enterprise Product Cost (EPC) and Profitability Analysis Toolkit (PAT) services across the enterprise. The incumbent will manage distributed source systems, analytical tools, and large‑volume data warehouses, turning complex data into actionable insights. They will also participate in the DataStage‑to‑SnapLogic migration, developing, testing, and validating SnapLogic pipelines under senior SME guidance.
Required qualifications are a bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Computer Science, or a related field, or at least five years of IT analyst experience. Candidates must have hands‑on experience with data modeling, load strategies, validation, error handling, and technical troubleshooting, as well as proven ability to build simple to complex SnapLogic ETL pipelines.
Preferred skills include experience with Snowflake and familiarity with database platforms such as Teradata, SQL Server, Oracle, and DB2. Strong communication abilities are needed to convey technical information effectively to management, work groups, and business partners.
The role is based in East Peoria IL, Dallas TX, or Nashville TN and may require up to 10 % travel. Employees work onsite five days a week, and visa sponsorship is not available.
Caterpillar offers a salary range of $97,530 – $146,290, with compensation varying based on factors such as job level, location, and performance.
