What you would be doing

Invoice products and complete daily shipping transactions (“end of day”)
Support day-to-day shipping operations, including resolving shipping tracer issues and assisting team members
Implement and maintain visual management tools (e.g., shipping board) to monitor progress and performance
Coordinate and support shipping teams to ensure timely processing and dispatch of units
Ensure all shipping paperwork is accurate and complete, including Bills of Lading, invoices, and international documentation for Canada and Mexico
Develop and maintain shipping plans based on customer requirements and confirmed delivery dates
Monitor and analyze the Delivery Performance KPI, including Pareto analysis and root cause identification for missed deliveries
Create, maintain, and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and standard work materials
Ensure proper packaging and handling of items according to the mode of transport
Schedule and coordinate truck shipments with carriers and forwarding agents
Act as the primary point of contact for the Sales team and customers regarding shipping matters
Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline shipping processes and improve on-time delivery

Computer literacy and strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel
U.S. work authorization
Preferred: One-year certificate from college or technical school
Team player and ability to fit into an established team
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small groups

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledgeable of ERP software such as Axapta or SAP
High School Diploma/GED and three or more years relevant work experience
Knowledge of process documentation and record keeping
Communicate professionally and positively with all internal and external customers
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Ability to pass forklife and crane certification
