Develop and deploy advanced process control (APC) strategies that drive measurable improvements in product margins, energy efficiency, and throughput. These solutions directly contribute to Shell’s bottom line by enhancing operational stability and reducing process variability.
Continuously monitor and fine-tune APC systems across global Shell assets to maintain optimal performance, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring sustained value delivery.
Support Shell’s End-to-End Optimization (E2E) initiatives by implementing APC solutions using the PACE tool across downstream units (e.g., CDUs, HCUs), following Shell’s standardized methodology to ensure consistency and scalability.
Participate in quality improvement and digitalization initiatives, helping to streamline workflows, improve data utilization, and enhance the overall effectiveness of APC deployments.
Engage with Shell’s global APC community to share best practices, leverage cross-asset learnings, and contribute to the development of innovative control strategies.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including technologists, control engineers, and asset operators to troubleshoot control issues, align on process objectives, and co-create solutions that enhance asset performance.

Familiarity with DCS systems like Honeywell, Yokogawa, Emerson for APC pre-commissioning
Preferably with 1-4 years of hands-on experience in APC implementation in oil & gas and chemical sectors.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemical engineering, or related field.
