Field Supervisor Service

Description

The Field Supervisor – Service position is based in Mumbai, India, at the Magnus Tower office. The role coordinates between employees and customers, plans daily schedules, allocates manpower, and oversees equipment surveys and preventive maintenance for elevators within the territory.

The supervisor is responsible for safety and quality, conducting toolbox talks, fatality preventive audits, and regular EH&S inspections, while ensuring timely closure of repair orders and reducing callback rates. They also maintain monthly and quarterly review reports and participate in incident investigations and RQC meetings.

• Coordinate employees and customers, gather feedback, and plan daily work schedules.
• Conduct annual equipment surveys and develop preventive repair schedules.
• Perform New Installation Surveys (NIS) for new construction and modernization projects.
• Lead toolbox talks, safety awareness sessions, and Fatality Preventive Audits.
• Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly review reports.
• Ensure timely closure of “T/Repair” orders and reduce top ten frequent callbacks.
• Perform random quality checks and enforce EH&S policy adherence.
• Conduct safety inspections/audits, complete corrective actions within target dates.
• Participate in incident investigations and RQC safety meetings.
• Mitigate risks identified in Job Hazard Analyses and follow up on corrective actions.
• Build client rapport, address examiner concerns, and manage contract renewals and quotations.
• Negotiate contract pricing, T‑order business, and modification orders; handle conversions.
• Pursue acquisition and recovery targets, following up on invoices and payments.
• Update conversion/recovery statuses in the system and coordinate material indenting with stores.
• Review net outstanding balances and payments regularly.
• Confidently manage high‑profile key customers.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Diploma or BE in Engineering and have 5–8 years of elevator service experience. Strong communication, interpersonal, and assertive, proactive, results‑oriented attitudes are required, along with the confidence to handle high‑profile key customers.
