The Revenue Management Analyst will oversee all revenue management activities for a portfolio of hotels, balancing financial objectives of various lodging products to maximize total room revenue and profit. Responsibilities include pricing, positioning, inventory control, demand forecasting, and opportunity analysis for transient, wholesale, and group segments.
Key duties involve analyzing revenue data, generating timely reports, monitoring distribution channels, and developing pricing strategies in collaboration with hotel General Managers and sales leaders. The analyst will also provide input on market sales strategy, conduct revenue tests, and ensure that rate restrictions and packages reflect current market conditions.
- Analyze information, identify problems, and propose solutions.
- Analyze period‑end and system data to spot trends and obstacles.
- Generate updates on the transient segment each period and analyze booking patterns.
- Assist with account diagnostics and validate conclusions.

- Initiate, implement, and evaluate revenue tests.
- Communicate and adjust sales strategies and rate restrictions as market conditions change.
- Assist hotels with pricing and business evaluation recommendations.
- Help create and articulate long‑term positioning strategies for group, transient, and catering segments aligned with brand standards.
- Recommend improvements to revenue management processes.
- Ensure property diagnostic processes are used to maximize revenue and profit.
- Verify hotel strategies align with brand philosophies and initiatives.
- Keep operation teams informed of daily strategies, inventory management, and package inclusions.
- Communicate brand initiatives, demand, and market analysis to hotels, clusters, franchise partners, and owners.
- Relay market direction to revenue management, sales, and hotel leaders.
- Develop and maintain constructive working relationships over time.
- Manage internal key stakeholder relationships.
- Provide timely communication of results, achievements, and challenges to stakeholders.
- Inform and update executives, peers, and subordinates on relevant information promptly.
- Enter, transcribe, store, and maintain information in written or electronic form.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of property revenue management experience, preferably across multiple properties, and a two‑year degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Hotel Management, or a related field. High proficiency in Excel is required, and experience with Opera or Marriott systems is preferred.
