Provider of UK housing repairs, maintenance, care services, development and facilities management
We are seeking an experienced Multi‑Skilled Operative to work on a busy planned route, completing jobs that may involve fixing or replacing doors, painting, ceiling repairs, plastering, plumbing and other tasks as required. The role demands high levels of service and customer satisfaction while working independently on individual jobs.
Successful candidates will meet the required experience, qualifications and licensing standards for the role.
All candidates must have the right to work in the UK; the company does not sponsor visas. Drivers of Mears vehicles must be over 21, have held their licence for at least three months and have fewer than nine penalty points. Successful applicants will undergo background, identity and security checks before starting.
The position offers a salary of up to £33,019 per annum, full‑time permanent with hours 08:00‑16:30 and an out‑of‑hours rota. The role includes a company vehicle and fuel card, an enhanced hourly rate when on call, and a range of company benefits. It is based in Caerphilly.
