Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, the Electrician is tasked with maintaining and repairing all electrical equipment in production areas and troubleshooting PLCs, while strictly following company safety rules and policies.
The role includes complying with safety policies, performing preventive maintenance on control panels, managing spare‑part inventory using lean and 5S principles, and collaborating with engineering on upgrades and new equipment installations. The electrician must also operate mobile equipment (pallet jack, forklift, scissor lift, boom lift), conduct electrical inspections, install conduit, and terminate wiring safely.
Required knowledge and skills include attention to detail, ability to work in a fast‑paced environment both independently and as part of a team, basic expertise with Allen‑Bradley and Siemens PLC hardware/software, gas‑burner controls, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Strong communication, reliability, and high work integrity are essential.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent plus relevant training or certification, and 1–2 years of experience in a similar field.
Physical demands involve working near moving mechanical parts, exposure to noise and airborne particles, lifting up to 50 lb, occasional climbing at heights, and wearing required PPE. Flexibility for overtime, shift work, and weekend schedules is required.
