Lead Auditor

This role is focused on leading and coordinating audits across all aspects of our project, ensuring compliance with project-specific management plans, construction standards, and regulatory requirements, while identifying improvement opportunities and driving corrective actions to support successful project delivery.

• Prepare and maintain the integrated Project audit schedule and ensure compliance through regular audits
• Monitor trends in audit findings and recommend systemic improvements
• Ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented and verified within agreed timeframes.
• Lead internal audits across construction sites, subcontractors and suppliers
• Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting findings, non-conformances and opportunities for improvement
• Conduct compliance audits against project Management Plans
• Identify audit scope, objectives and criteria based on project specifications and standards

Requirements

• Proven ability to plan and manage project audit schedules
• Experience leading audits across construction sites and suppliers
• Ability to manage multiple audits and deadlines.
• Solid knowledge of compliance requirements and management plans
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation, environmental regulations, and quality standards
• Demonstrated follow-through on corrective and preventive actions
• Skilled in writing clear, detailed audit reports
• Lead Auditor certification ISO 9001. ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 desirable.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in auditing within construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of project standards and audit criteria
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Analytical mindset with ability to identify trends and drive improvement
• High attention to detail and integrity
