Vic |Construction Manager

Description

• Lead and mentor the construction team to deliver detailed scopes of work and accurate budgets for tenders.
• Collaborate closely with the State Operations Manager and company Directors on project strategy and delivery.
• Make a real impact on the delivery of projects across Victoria.
• Drive WHS and safety compliance across all projects in collaboration with the BBS WHS team.
• Ensure projects remain profitable while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Oversee project scheduling and manage multiple site teams, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.
• Manage contractors and suppliers to meet company standards, purchase orders, and compliance requirements.
• Work on varied, high-profile insurance restoration projects.
• Lead a talented and supportive team.

Requirements

• Ability to juggle competing priorities and multiple projects simultaneously.
• Competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, and MS Project.
• Well suited to a Registered Builder or technically minded professional
• Solid background in medium to large domestic and commercial construction repairs.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Confidence managing stakeholders, including property owners, clients, and insurers.
• Understanding of relevant Building Codes and Australian Standards.
• Proven experience managing construction teams and multiple projects.
• Strong experience in estimating, budget management, and delivering building repairs.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, WHS requirements, permits, and inspections.
