- Oversee selection/design/integration of ECM technologies (e.g., Documentum, SharePoint, Hyland, OpenText, Xerox DocuShare).
- Develop, document, and drive ECM architecture and solution strategies—from capture, manage, store, preserve, to deliver—as defined within ECM frameworks.
- Architect integrations between ECM, ERP, CRM, and other enterprise systems via APIs, middleware, or ECI connectors.
- Conduct architecture reviews and enforce standards, reuse frameworks and deliver actionable blueprints and patterns to ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Plan and execute migrations from legacy ECM systems to modern platforms, maintaining content integrity and accessibility.
- Establish ECM governance, security, retention, and disposition practices—ensuring content capture, workflow, version control, access control, audit, and compliance with regulations (e.g., HIPAA, SOX, records management).
- Define integration patterns, metadata models, and workflows to govern unstructured content across enterprise systems.
- Maintain professional demeanor and behavior at all times in all forms of communication.
- Lead implementation of ECI approaches—indexing, virtual repositories, unified search and packaging content from multiple systems.
- Promote ECM architectural best practices, support adoption of emerging ECM trends (e.g., AI-assisted classification, automated workflows), and engage in internal knowledge sharing and thought leadership.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Familiarity with capturing, storing, preserving, and delivering unstructured content compliant with corporate and regulatory policies.
- Typically, ten plus years of experience in ECM architecture, design, or implementation.
- Experience with cloud/on-prem systems.
- Proven track record with ECM platforms (i.e. Documentum, FileNet, Box, AWS, OnBase, Alfresco, OpenText, SharePoint or similar).
- Experience in enterprise-scale content migrations and/or ECI implementations.
- Experience with data modeling and design.
