Description

In this position you will oversee six cash pools, centralise cash from global entities, and lead a comprehensive review of the existing banking and pooling architecture to create a more efficient, scalable model that aligns with global treasury objectives and banking relationships.

You will manage a team of two treasury managers in Poland, providing training, coaching and technical upskilling while championing continuous improvement and automation across a largely manual environment.

• Review, redesign, and optimise the EMEA banking structure and six cash pools.
• Develop a future‑state cash‑pooling and centralisation model aligned with global treasury strategy.
• Rationalise bank accounts, pooling structures and intercompany cash flows to improve efficiency and cut costs.
• Oversee monthly cash centralisation, ensuring timely and accurate fund movements.
• Eliminate manual steps by implementing automation and technology‑driven solutions.
• Enhance liquidity visibility, forecasting accuracy and regional control.
• Map existing processes, identify inefficiencies and deploy scalable automated solutions.
• Drive adoption of treasury technologies, cash‑management tools and integration with TMS and ERP systems.
• Lead treasury projects on cash pooling, bank rationalisation, system enhancements and process transformation.
• Coordinate with global treasury, IT, finance and banking partners; prepare business cases and implementation roadmaps.
• Manage day‑to‑day relationships with regional banking partners and support global banking strategy alignment.
• Provide direct line management, training and coaching to two treasury managers in Warsaw.
• Build treasury capability within the team and foster a culture of continuous learning.
• Act as subject‑matter expert for cash pooling, liquidity structures and banking operations.
• Apply strong analytical, problem‑solving and project‑management skills to deliver results.
• Support compliance with operational, regulatory and commercial banking requirements.

• Demonstrated expertise in cash pooling (physical and notional), cash centralisation and liquidity structures.
• Hands‑on experience with treasury management systems and automation technologies.
• Proven track record of redesigning banking structures and delivering treasury projects end‑to‑end.
• Experience managing and upskilling teams in a multinational environment.
