Development of a client account strategy aligned with the client's business objectives and market sector strategy through annual and multi-year planning. Communication of the account strategy and updates to the strategy to the account team.
Collaboration with Market Sector, Solutions, and Operations teams to prepare and regularly update the Account Plans to translate strategy and sector heat maps into concrete objectives, actions, and outcomes.
Ensuring delivery of profitable projects with exceptional quality, adhering to agreed schedules and budgets; working closely with Operations leadership to resolve issues/challenges, implement best practices, and improve delivery processes.
Coordinating thought leadership activities through multiple channels (white papers, blogs, conferences, webinars, and events) to bring value to Arcadis and enhance our visibility within our clients’ organizations and the broader market.

Comprehensive understanding of the diverse range of services and solutions offered by Arcadis, with the capability to sell and deliver these across multiple business areas.
Proven ability to work internationally with clients, effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, challenge the status quo, and drive diversification and growth of key accounts.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
Proficiency in embracing digital tools and standardized approaches (e.g., Global Excellence Centers) to enhance and streamline service delivery.
Minimum of 12 years of experience in client development, including at least 5 years in a global or regional account leadership role, demonstrating strategic leadership and vision.
Strong advocacy for health & safety practices, visibly championing these principles in the workplace.
Understanding the client’s business objectives and industry trends, as well as competitor market intelligence.
A degree in a relevant industry discipline, with substantial experience in leading client development and sales for major Energy & Natural Resources Sector accounts. Experience as an account leader or program manager in an engineering consultancy or professional services firm is essential.
