Production & Design Associate

Description

TGC is seeking a Production & Design Associate to work in our Houston, Texas (Midtown) or Austin, Texas (Shoal Creek) office. This individual will assist in the conceptual development, visualization, and spatial assembly of TGC projects, plans, proposals, and products. Key responsibilities include the development of TGC marketing materials, outreach, and firm positioning. A core component of this role is working with other TGC team members to creatively determine content, formatting, and other design decisions.

• Developing and updating marketing materials to include project profiles, document templates, resumes, and business line summary booklets.
• Providing assistance with other responsibilities as required/requested.
• Assisting with social media management and web development-related tasks and providing various marketing analytics on SEO and online positioning.
• Managing and coordinating several qualification packages and proposals (RFQ/RFP) with various deadline requirements.
• Crafting, visualizing, and documenting projects and messaging related to public infrastructure and the built environment (roads, bridges, sidewalks, trails, public transportation and transit facilities, wayfinding, parks, parking, etc.)
• Marketing and visual design;
• Collecting and maintaining a strong library of marketing assets, including photos and graphics.
• Designing, formatting, proofing, and editing reports, fact sheets, presentations, maps, and other client deliverables.

Requirements

• Prior experience managing social media platforms and digital content creation for a business, brand and/or publication is a plus.
• Engineering, architecture (including landscape), and urban design
• Experience with developing and managing proposals for RFQs and RFPs and assembling necessary information and requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, Business, Urban Planning, and/or Engineering. Other relevant certificates/education may be accepted in lieu of those specifically listed above.
• Solid grammar, editing, and proofreading capabilities.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop and knowledge in Microsoft Office.
• Working knowledge in ESRI, ArcGIS, and other related software packages is a plus.
• Strong communication and task management skills.
• Ability to work remotely/from home part-time.
• This position will involve less than 10% travel.

Benefits

• 4 weeks paid vacation time per year with 120 hour “roll over” of any un-used time to the following year. Sick time as needed.
• Base salary range of $60,000 to $78,000; dependent on qualifications.
