Overview

Fabricate and weld hollow metal doors and frames, install hardware and glass.

Tasks

-Performs fabrication on these products including: -Welding parts together -Using 40 pound electric grinder to smooth out welds, etc. -Using jigsaw or other power tools to cut holes in doors and frames -Installing vision kits and glass in doors -Reads Work Orders and Product Templates to establish necessary fabrication to be performed Other relative duties as assigned -Using electric drills

What You Bring

-Ability to work closely and cordially with other staff associates -Good communication skills -Ability to accurately do arithmetic, read orders, write instructions and complete forms -Forklift certification preferred -High School Diploma, or an equivalent combination of education/experience -Basic computer skills -Handles hollow metal doors and frames weighing from 60 to 150 pounds -Knowledge of architectural door materials and hardware -Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test
