Master Mechanic NA

Description

The Master Mechanic NA role focuses on vision‑system management within H.B. Fuller’s manufacturing operations. The incumbent will be responsible for setting up and changing over vision systems, maintaining and calibrating equipment, troubleshooting issues, optimizing performance, documenting procedures, training users and staying current with technological advances.

• Set up and change over vision systems efficiently.
• Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and performance checks on vision systems.
• Diagnose and resolve vision system issues using appropriate tools.
• Optimize system performance, accuracy, and efficiency in collaboration with engineering and production.
• Document configurations, maintenance schedules, changeover procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
• Train and support end‑users on operation, changeover, and maintenance of vision systems.
• Monitor industry trends to recommend and implement vision system improvements.
• Apply logical reasoning to solve practical problems with limited standardization.
• Utilize Microsoft Office and in‑house systems to operate troubleshooting and calibration devices.

Requirements

Successful candidates will hold a technical or trade degree, relevant certification, and three to five years of comparable experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. They must demonstrate strong logical reasoning, problem‑solving abilities, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and in‑house troubleshooting tools. The position also requires the physical capability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lb and perform occasional climbing, stooping, or kneeling.

• Hold a technical/trade degree or certification with 3‑5 years relevant experience (or equivalent).
• Meet physical demands including standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lb, and occasional climbing or stooping.
