Evaluate activity sequences for constructability
Assess impacts to critical path and near-critical activities, report to project team
Reading and interpreting plans and specifications
Review schedules with project team members on a regular basis to ensure that accurate timely data is incorporated in the schedule
Meeting with subcontractors and suppliers on site
Daily installation quantity record keeping
Equipment hour tracking
RFI's drafting subcontracts, purchase orders and negotiating contract pricing to come in under budget
Daily start and stop station recording for record drawings
Attending any necessary field meetings Progress photos
Develop, monitor and update integrated project plans and schedules so that projects can be executed in the most efficient manner possible
Analyze change orders for schedule impacts
Monitor schedule deviations and variances and assist in the developing alternate methods for corrective action
Prepare and provide schedule progress reports, trending charts and schedule analysis on a periodic basis
Attending progress meetings
Prepare baseline scheduling. schedule basis documents for approval by project teams
Perform job-site walks to verify physical progress of scheduled activities
Assure credibility of the information contained in the schedule
Verify schedule integrity and evaluate logic and float paths

Ability to schedule and coordinate subcontractors
Ability to work in office but also spend time in field, understand what is being built
Experience in civil, infrastructure to include: Heavy highway and TxDOT experience is a must
Excellent computer skills and analytical ability
Ability to manage and schedule deliveries from suppliers
Ability to understand construction logic and sequencing of complex projects
Position will require traveling to jobsites
Must have ability to interpret contract specifications and drawings
Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment
Large amounts of word processing, letters/correspondence to owners and engineers
Construction/related degree with 3 to 5 years construction scheduling experience
Knowledge of contract procedures and principles
Understanding of industrial construction process
Experience working with Primavera P6
Ability to communicate verbally and electronically in an educated and professional manner with owners and engineers
