You will define and drive a unified, future-ready search strategy that leverages the latest advances in AI, large language models (LLMs), and generative search, ensuring Schneider Electric remains at the forefront of digital discoverability.
- AI-First Search Strategy: Develop and implement a global search strategy that prioritizes AI-driven search, LLM-based platforms, and conversational interfaces, while maintaining technical SEO excellence across all digital properties.
- Cross-Platform Discoverability: Ensure seamless discoverability across traditional search engines, AI chatbots, voice assistants, and emerging search modalities.
- Data-Driven Insights: Establish and track advanced KPIs for AI search performance, delivering actionable insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Collaboration & Influence: Partner with content, product, digital marketing, and technology teams globally to embed AI search optimization into every facet of Schneider Electric’s digital ecosystem.
- Generative AI Optimization: Lead initiatives to optimize Schneider Electric’s presence and authority on generative AI search platforms, including prompt engineering, structured data, and schema markup for LLM consumption.

- Innovation & Thought Leadership: Anticipate and adapt to the evolving AI search landscape, championing best practices and piloting new technologies and methodologies.
- Proven AI Search Leadership: 10+ years in global search strategy, with at least 3 years leading AI-driven search initiatives and demonstrable success optimizing for generative AI platforms.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Digital Marketing, or related field; advanced degree or certification in AI, data science, or digital marketing highly desirable.
- Analytics & Measurement: Advanced proficiency with web analytics and AI search performance tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, and AI-specific analytics platforms).
- Hands-On with AI Platforms: Direct experience deploying and optimizing content for platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Perplexity, and similar.
- Collaboration & Leadership: Exceptional project management and leadership skills, with experience driving cross-functional teams and managing complex agency/technology partnerships.
- Technical Mastery: Deep expertise in LLMs, prompt engineering, schema markup, structured data, and the technical requirements for AI search optimization.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex AI concepts into clear, actionable strategies for diverse audiences.
- Strategic Vision: Track record of developing and executing innovative, measurable search strategies in complex, global B2B environments.
Benefits
The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $139,200 - $208,800 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.
