Key duties include assisting in the identification and assessment of potential residential sites, supporting initial appraisals, feasibility and financial studies, conducting market research and planning policy reviews, liaising with landowners, agents and internal teams, preparing reports and presentations for senior management, maintaining land databases, and supporting negotiations and acquisitions where appropriate.
Vistry expects its staff to embody the values of integrity, caring and quality, to show genuine interest in land acquisition and residential development, and to hold a degree (or be studying) in a relevant discipline such as Real Estate, Planning or Surveying. Candidates should possess strong analytical, numerical and communication skills, be organised, proactive and keen to learn, and hold a full UK driving licence, with prior experience in a land agency or developer environment.
While the company values in‑person collaboration and a strong team culture, it also promotes flexible working and encourages candidates to discuss any specific accommodation needs during the interview process.

Employees enjoy up to 33 days of annual leave (rising to 39 days with service), two volunteering days, private medical cover, enhanced parental leave, a generous pension scheme, life assurance at four times salary, share‑save and share‑incentive schemes, and access to an employee rewards portal.
