Key duties include assisting in the identification and assessment of potential residential sites, supporting initial appraisals, feasibility and financial studies, conducting market research and planning policy reviews, liaising with landowners, agents and internal teams, preparing reports and presentations for senior management, maintaining land databases, and supporting negotiations and acquisitions where appropriate.
- Identify and assess residential development sites across Merseyside, Cheshire West, and Lancashire.
- Conduct initial site appraisals, feasibility studies, and financial assessments.
- Perform market research and review planning policies.
- Liaise with landowners, agents, planners, and internal departments.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and approval papers for senior management.
- Maintain land databases and monitor regional land opportunities.
- Support negotiations and acquisition processes as needed.
- Build and maintain a short‑ and medium‑term landbank pipeline based on strong margins and advantageous deal structures.
- Develop and expand contacts with land agents, owners, and local authorities.
