Ninyo & Moore, a SOCOTEC Company is seeking a highly qualified Phased Array (PAUT) Level II Technician to support a growing non‑destructive testing program. The role is intended for experienced technicians who can perform independent field inspections, interpret results according to applicable codes, and deliver accurate, defensible inspection reports.
The position requires travel, extended hours, and the ability to work in challenging industrial environments, including extreme temperatures, heights, and the need to lift up to 50 lb for prolonged periods. Candidates must hold a valid driver’s license and meet client and site‑specific safety requirements.
- PAUT Level II Certification (required)
- VT Level II Certification (required)
- PT and MT Level II Certifications (preferred)
- Verifiable classroom training hours and on‑the‑job training (OJT) documentation
- Strong working knowledge of ASME Codes (Section V, VIII, IX)
- Strong working knowledge of AWS Codes (including D1.1)
- Strong working knowledge of API Codes (API 1104, 650, 653, as applicable)
- Strong working knowledge of AWWA Standards
- Ability to interpret indications, evaluate acceptance criteria, and generate professional inspection reports
- Willingness to travel and work overnight as required
- Lift up to 50 lb for extended periods
- Work comfortably at heights and in industrial environments
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Hold multi‑method Level II certifications with at least 5 years of experience
- Demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Local applicants preferred
