The Home Consultant role at Clayton focuses on delivering a world‑class home buying experience, guiding customers through floor‑plan selection, options, and construction coordination.
The position blends sales prospecting, product demonstration, appointment setting, and collaboration with the store manager to maintain attractive model homes and drive traffic to the Home Center.
Ideal candidates act as Clayton ambassadors, uphold brand integrity, continuously learn finance and market knowledge, and excel in customer follow‑up and merchandising.
Candidates must have at least six months of B2C sales experience, be able to obtain manufactured‑home sales licensing, possess strong communication, organizational and time‑management skills, and meet physical job requirements such as lifting up to 75 lb and working Saturdays.
Compensation includes a $50,000 base salary plus a lucrative commission structure, with unlimited earning potential, and a flexible benefits package covering health, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid parental leave, PTO, holidays, and volunteer time.
