Senior Finance Analyst - Contract to Billing

Description

The role focuses on client‑side transactional accounting for MES, working closely with client account teams. You will be responsible for reviewing and setting up contracts, interpreting contract language and MOUs, and ensuring proper client setup. Timely preparation of invoices, accounting entries, and monthly revenue uploads in PeopleSoft and Corrigo is essential, as is managing billing inquiries, receivables, and cash application instructions.

• Review and set up new contracts and projects.
• Prepare complex client invoices, accounting entries, and uploads in PeopleSoft and Corrigo accurately and timely.
• Prepare monthly revenue uploads and journal entries for revenue and expense accruals, reclasses, and expense allocations.
• Respond to billing inquiries and follow up on outstanding receivables, providing cash application instructions.
• Lead client account team meetings with Finance to resolve questions.
• Maintain and update monthly checklists containing client and billing information.
• Support design and implementation of billing process improvements.
• Assist with client invoice audits, budgets, and forecasts as needed.
• Ensure compliance with JLL Internal Audit and Client Accounting Services SAS 70 internal review standards.

Requirements

Successful candidates will hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and have at least three years of corporate accounting experience, including contract interpretation. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills are required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and PeopleSoft 9.2. You must be able to multitask, work under pressure, prioritize effectively, and collaborate both independently and within a team.

• Interpret contract language and MOUs; attend MOU meetings with business and client account teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 3+ years of corporate accounting experience, including contract interpretation.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PeopleSoft 9.2.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure, prioritize workload, and meet client needs.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, building relationships with business partners.
• Willingness to take on new challenges, responsibilities, and assignments.
