Your insights will drive informed decision-making, optimize spend, and identify opportunities for savings and innovation within our global contracts. You will work closely with regional finance teams and support client commercial finance counterparts to deliver consistent, high-quality financial reporting and management information.

As the Global Commercial Analyst, you will report to the Global Head of Commercial and Pricing and will be responsible for delivering globally consistent financial and commercial data, providing impactful data analysis for commercial decisions.

The role holder will be responsible for supporting in the commercial and contractual agenda for a global customer contract with a strong emphasis on delivering continuous improvement. The role will be responsible for analysing commercial data and utilising the results to ensure global consistency as well as drive improvement.

The role will also be responsible for driving and delivering continuous improvement in processes and systems as well as identifying automation opportunities within commercial workflows and reporting to increase efficiency and accuracy.

  • Act as a trusted and accessible point of contact to the Global and Regional finance teams, providing support when required.
  • Develop rapport with client’s commercial finance team finance
  • Ensure financial reporting tool is fully updated with annual budgets, forecasts (for contract change notes) and actual data
  • Support delivery of ad hoc Customer request for financial and commercial data
  • Delivery of global contract tracking documents – examples may include global savings initiatives tracker
  • Proactively identify opportunities to bring innovation to the account enabling delivery of all contractual and financial commercial data
  • Analyse cost drivers and trends within the contract, to optimize spend and identify savings/spend opportunities
  • Support in the delivery and embedment of a new requirement to deliver 3 months rolling forecast working in collaboration with the Regional Finance Teams.
  • Identify and drive process improvements and automation opportunities within commercial workflows and reporting to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Engage closely with regional finance teams to ensure delivery of globally consistent, high quality, insightful reporting.
  • Deliver consolidated global performance reporting including commercial insights and analysis
  • Support ad hoc financial projects related to occupancy trends, new sites, workplace experience and ad hoc client requests
  • Support in the delivery of insightful MI and global reports primarily for Customer reviews

Language: English

  • Must be working towards or hold an appropriate professional qualification for the role e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
  • Ability to take responsibility, work proactively and independently and collaboratively with wider teams
  • Experience with customer relationship and of commercial contract models is preferred
  • Fluent in English
  • Experience working in a large matrix organisation with several stakeholders with differing expectations and needs is preferred
  • Detail oriented with strong problem solving abilities and results orientation; willing to challenge and be challenged
  • Strong commercial financial acumen and experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of translating complex data into clear commercial insights
  • Excellent Excel and data analysis skills
