Within Caterpillar, SPM™ Oil & Gas delivers surface frac solutions, and the Field Service Technician III role supports customers by managing pressure control equipment across rotational assignments in Kuwait.
The technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing wellhead and pressure control products, diagnosing failures, providing on‑site technical training, and ensuring clear communication with field staff.
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain wellhead and pressure control equipment at customer locations.
- Diagnose product failures and perform repairs following manufacturer recommendations and API standards.
- Provide technical product orientation and basic user training to customers on site.
- Collaborate with co‑field staff to manage workflow, communication, and policy implementation.
- Advise customers on correct installation, operation, and maintenance procedures.
- Complete accurate job reports for each service activity.
- Rotational travel to customer sites in Kuwait.

- Minimum 6 years experience in upstream oil & gas, focusing on wellhead systems.
- Proven experience with pressure testing equipment and flow line/annulus bleed systems.
- Engineering degree or diploma in Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering preferred.
- Strong leadership, problem‑solving, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and interact with all organizational levels.
- Valid EHS certifications and advanced wellhead training required.
- Proficiency in MS Office and strong English; multilingual abilities (Arabic) considered an advantage.
