Mortenson is seeking an experienced Estimator III who can interact with staff at all levels in a dynamic environment. The role requires flexibility, resourcefulness, proactivity, and professionalism while maintaining confidentiality. The Estimator will lead, coordinate, and finalize full estimates for large, complex projects.

- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Estimating, Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
- Minimum six years of construction industry experience.
- Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple project tasks.
- Familiarity with building and estimating software techniques.
- Capability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with BIM, plans, and project documents for quantification.
- Strong industry relationships and knowledge of building systems.
- Experience leading estimator teams on large projects.
- Skill using cost‑history software for unit‑price and system‑level pricing.
- Ability to produce self‑performed estimates and analyze past data.
- Willingness to travel up to 20 % of the time.
Benefits
The base salary for this position ranges from $109,300 to $164,000, with higher ranges in select locations such as Denver, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, and Washington, D.C. Base pay is set based on knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. The role is also eligible for Mortenson’s incentive plan.
