Description

• Draft technical drawings
• Obtain cost estimates and produce final cost estimates
• Manage design budgets for assigned projects
• Oversees Intermediate Designers to review space plans
• Provides details for interior and architectural design projects
• Develop architectural concepts for interior and exterior repositioning and/or adaptive projects
• Develop design ideas and create both presentation and construction drawings
• Provide review of engineering and landscape drawings to ensure they comply with design solutions
• Develop and deliver overall design and furniture packages
• May develop and finalize conceptual design for smaller projects
• With a Senior Designer, research and select fixtures and finishes

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of CDs, building systems, codes, and ADA requirements
• Advanced presentation, rendering and architectural detailing skills
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Revit
• Working knowledge of path of travel requirements and contract administration
• 5+ years of experience in workplace design, focusing on building repositioning and adaptive re-use projects as well as corporate interiors
• Graduate of architecture or design school
