To deliver fully documented designs to meet Client objectives and ARCADIS quality system requirements.
Liaise with other disciplines and ensure all requirements are understood.
Taking personal responsibility for the preparation of detailed engineering documentation and leading the engineering effort for project including providing technical and performance oversight for team members.
To manage selected projects, project task/responsibilities as assigned, and/or design processes (or parts of projects) to meet agreed budget, quality, and timeframe targets.
Preparing and reviewing engineering deliverables including complex reports, proposals, presentations, and drawing packages.
Prepare and register all relevant documentation and design reports and ensure all documentation is accurate and in compliance with the Arcadis and customer requirements.
Working to achieve project delivery on time to budget and to a high standard meeting Client expectation.
Apply engineering knowledge, techniques and tools complying with international design standards and EU Codes & Standards relevant to assigned project.
Ensure application of relevant international / EU standards and engineering knowledge in various projects.
Plan, coordinate and mentor junior engineers.
Conduct internal review and quality checks of engineering drawings and design calculations to ensure compliance with the project's requirements.
Liaise with Arcadis lead offices representatives and other consultants as appropriate to the project.
Actively continue to develop technical knowledge and new emerging technology.
Prepare document and drawing package for the appropriate project design submission stage complying with codes and standards and delivering the design with high quality.
Become familiar and compliant with Health and Safety regulations and guidelines.
Develop study and design procedures to facilitate high-quality and cost-effective work
Take responsibility for defined tasks within prescribed limits.

Understanding scope and change in scope when it arises.
At least 2 years’ experience in design & drafting electrical infrastructure in EU, general familiarity with the electricity supply industry, electricity transmission and distribution practices and related topics.
At least 4 years’ experience in substation secondary design, preferably in a consulting environment.
Consulting experience in EU Energy Transition projects is preferred.
Computational design, design algorithms and automation of data manipulation.
Ability to provide solutions to technical problems.
Experience in substation processes from concept stage to construction and As-Builts.
The ability to develop complex models in ETAP and conduct protection coordination.
Excellent mathematical skills applied in engineering calculations.
HV transmission and distribution substations secondary systems electrical design: protection and control schematics, wiring diagrams, protection and control room layout, IED selection.
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
Organizational skills and proactive approach in project management.
Experience in CAD documentation to EU Energy standards and other international standards.
Bachelor Degree of Technology / Science in Electrical Engineering from recognized University.
