Project and technical leadership includes managing roadway and bridge engineering projects from concept through completion, overseeing scope, budget, and schedule development, and supervising preparation of design documents, specifications, and cost estimates. The role also involves conducting technical analyses, quality reviews, and participating in performance reviews, forecasting, and risk assessments while mentoring engineering staff.
Business development responsibilities involve leading regional initiatives to expand TYLin’s market presence, cultivating strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry organizations, identifying new project opportunities, and leading proposal development and strategic pursuits across bridge and transportation teams.
Our Global Bridge Team is expanding its presence in Virginia, D.C., and Maryland to deliver sustainable, resilient, and people‑focused transportation solutions. We are seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager to grow our transportation and project delivery efforts while contributing to regional business growth. Reporting to the Sector Manager, the role requires strong technical expertise, proven project‑management experience, and deep knowledge of regional roadway and bridge markets.
Qualifications include a required P.E. license, a preferred Master’s degree, and at least 10 + years of experience in highway or bridge design and project management with significant local project experience. Candidates should have a proven record of delivering complex projects, leading multidisciplinary teams, a strong understanding of AASHTO design standards, established regional relationships, and excellent technical judgment, communication, and collaboration skills.
