As a Works Delivery Manager you will manage multiple Network Rail and rail‑related infrastructure contracts, both planned and reactive, reporting to CML’s Senior Project Manager in Sheffield and working on projects across the North West and Central Region. The role requires an excellent understanding of design drawings, commercial awareness of cost monitoring and cost‑value reconciliation, and daily liaison with the client to maintain and develop trusted relationships.

Candidates should have at least five years’ experience in reactive works delivery and civil engineering construction, ideally within a railway environment, and an appreciation of the Network Rail design process. Demonstrated line‑management, commercial (NEC4 preferred) and programme‑management experience are essential, together with relevant railway safety training (PTS required, COSS/IWA desirable) and ongoing professional development such as SMSTS, MAPM, NVQ 6/7, NEBOSH or Temporary Works Co‑ordinator.
