Company
Overview
It transformed a small wind research project into a global turbine powerhouse.
It went public in Shenzhen and Hong Kong, scaling up with major government-backed loans and international expansion.
Goldwind pioneered permanent‑magnet direct‑drive turbines, evolving through R&D hubs across six continents.
Their projects span onshore and offshore farms: from Xinjiang plains to Brazil, South Africa, the U.S., and Australia.
Typical contracts include EPC roles on major wind farms like South Africa’s Golden Valley and Texas’s Rattlesnake.
They integrate clean power systems, combining wind, solar, storage, and smart grid services for zero‑carbon assets.
Unusually, they also run water‑treatment utilities via a subsidiary.
In 2024, they launched next‑gen turbines—like 12–16 MW offshore units, cutting cost per kW by ~10%.
