Applicants must have at least a high school diploma or GED.
The successful candidate must complete a post‑offer physical examination, drug/alcohol screening, and background check, with some positions requiring ongoing FMCSA‑regulated testing.
- Journeyman‑level mechanic with 3‑5 years of heavy‑duty diesel and medium‑fleet automotive experience (preferred).
- Knowledge of industrial and shop safety rules and procedures.
- Ability to safely operate vehicles and equipment for testing and troubleshooting before and after maintenance.
- Computer experience entering data for work orders and purchasing parts.
- Basic fabrication skills, including use of welders and gas torches.
- Experience performing preventative maintenance.
- Reliable attendance.
- Ability to work safely and efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Must bring personal tools required for the job.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Class A driver’s license preferred.
- Recent graduates of diesel mechanic programs will be considered.
