  • Troubleshoot AV issues, ensuring minimal disruption during live events.
  • Set up, configure, and operate AV equipment for meetings, events, and conferences, including projectors, microphones, speakers, video conferencing systems, and digital displays.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues.
  • Collaborate with vendors for the repair and upgrade of AV equipment.
  • Act as a liaison between the hotel, its customers, and other 3rd party audio visual providers to coordinate and deliver world-class audio-visual services to
  • Work closely with other departments to understand and meet their AV needs.
  • Maintain an inventory of all AV hardware and software.
  • Maintain and upgrade AV systems to meet evolving organizational needs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of AV setups, configurations, and troubleshooting processes.
  • Perform regular maintenance and updates on AV systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide training and support to staff on using AV systems.

  • Familiarity with AV control systems (e.g., Crestron, Extron)
  • Use good communication skills with employees and guests.
  • Crestron or Extron certifications (Preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • 2+ years of experience in AV/IT support, preferably in a corporate and events environment.
  • AVIXA CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) (Preferred)
  • Ability to work a cloud-based IT Helpdesk ticketing system.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications including Office and MS Teams.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues under time-sensitive conditions.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of networking principles, including IP configuration and wireless networking.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology, Audio-Visual Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience) highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting AV equipment, including projectors, sound systems, and video conferencing tools (e.g., Zoom, Teams).
  • Ability to travel between company locations or off-site events as required.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in high-pressure environments.
