Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal, environmental regulations, and keep abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization.
Support stormwater, SPCC, and wastewater treatment programs, maintaining and implementing corresponding plans, inspections and documentation.
Participate in implementation and continual improvement of the ISO14001 Environmental Management System (EMS).
Conduct environmental inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements. Complete root cause analyses and corrective implementation planning to address any deficiencies/opportunities for improvement.
Prepare and submit required regulatory reports, including Air, EPCRA, Water, and Waste reports.
Collect, analyze and report environmental data, including air emissions, stormwater and wastewater samples. Submit energy, water and waste data into the company’s database.
Assist with the development, implementation, and maintenance of environmental programs related to air quality, hazardous waste, stormwater, and wastewater that meet regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate and updated documentation for the EHS department to include inventory lists, chemical lists, inspection lists, audits, training records and ISO documentation.
Support hazardous waste management activities, including waste characterization, storage, labeling, and disposal in accordance with applicable regulations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement environmental initiatives.
Facilitate environmental training, lead initiatives to reduce waste and improve resource efficiency, and monitor environmental performance and report on progress.
Maintain compliance with environmental permits and submit new/renewal applications, as appropriate.

Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in any environmental or sustainability management preferred
Knowledge of Federal, State and Local environmental regulations, including RCRA, EPCRA, CAA, CWA, and SPCC
Experience with environmental assessments and sustainability initiatives
3 years environmental management and compliance experience.
