- Good IT and diagnostic skills
- A high school diploma or equivalent, Degree or diploma in mechanical or automotive engineering is preferred
- Aptitude for mathematics and science
- Interprets diagnostic test results accurately
- Good organization skills
- Ability to complete work tasks under various adverse weather conditions including heat above 100 degrees, cold, and rain
- Attention to detail
- Proficiency with maintenance and repair tools
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Advanced knowledge of diesel engine components
- Valid driver's license
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 150 lbs.
- Uses power, machine, and hand tools safely
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Willing to work overtime/ Weekends
- Ability to do annual inspections
- ASE Diesel Certification advantageous
