Able to build strong, professional client relationships and proactively identify and resolve client’s issues.
Ability to lead and develop key strategies and documentation for major procurement projects that complies with Public Sector Regulations or equivalent.

Excellent attention to detail.
Have achieved, working towards or willing to work towards MCIPs accreditation.
Preferably possess degree related to construction, civil engineering, quantity surveying, law or procurement.

Able to develop Supplier Relationship Management strategies and activities.
Cross sector experience with a strong public procurement background is highly desirable,

Preferably possess experience working in Defence, Utilities, Infrastructure (roads, rail etc) sectors
Able to develop Supply Chain Intelligence strategies and analysis.
Experience of developing and using various forms of contracts with particular focus on NEC and JCT.
Confident, independent and trustworthy, able to influence individuals at all levels.
Experience in and/or knowledge of regulated procurement, in particular Public Contract Regulations 2015 with an awareness of the Green Paper and potential changes to the public procurement regime.
A strong background in tender preparation, development and management ideally including negotiation.

Excellent communication skills, adaptable, with a determination to succeed.
Able to develop supplier evaluation and commercial principles and modelling strategies.
Able to manage and supervise the delivery of others for a successful outcome.
