The driver will operate tractor‑trailers and flatbeds, follow DOT regulations, complete pre‑ and post‑trip inspections, maintain accurate logs, and provide courteous service during deliveries. The position is full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 8 AM‑5 PM, with daily overtime and close collaboration with warehouse staff to load and secure orders.
- Strategically plan routes to ensure timely deliveries.
- Load and unload cargo, securing items to prevent damage.
- Perform thorough pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
- Communicate with dispatch and customers to confirm and adjust delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, bills of lading, and required documentation.
- Observe hours‑of‑service regulations and take required breaks.
- Keep vehicle and cargo secured and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
- Report maintenance or repair needs promptly.
- Complete a comprehensive background check.
- Frequently stand, walk, reach, and lift items up to 50 lb.

The role requires frequent standing, walking, and lifting of items up to 50 lb, as well as prolonged periods at a desk for paperwork. Drivers must have good distance, peripheral, and depth vision and be able to work in varying weather and moderate noise conditions.
- Hold a valid California Class A driver’s license with “T” endorsement and manual transmission experience.
- Minimum 2 years professional Class A driving experience; wholesale or warehouse experience preferred.
- Clean driving record and ability to pass background check, drug test, and medical certification.
- Ability to lift and maneuver loads up to 50 lb and perform long driving hours.
- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills; basic English proficiency.
- Knowledge of driving laws, speed limits, and accident procedures.
- Pass a physical examination and drug test.
- Obtain required certifications (Medical Certification Clearance Card, FMSC, O.T. registration).
- Work in varying weather, moderate noise, and exposure to moving mechanical parts.
- Possess adequate distance, peripheral, and depth vision.
