You’ll be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle — from initial design concepts to permitting and construction coordination. This includes leading technical design efforts, managing schedules and budgets, and ensuring all deliverables meet client and regulatory expectations.
- Mentor and train team members, assigning and reviewing tasks via project management tools.
- Collaborate with municipalities, contractors, and consultants throughout the project process.
- Design grading, drainage, water, and sewer systems in compliance with local standards.
- Manage multiple active projects totaling approximately $750K–$1M in invoiced work annually.
- Direct and coordinate internal design teams to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.
- Track progress, budgets, and deadlines to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Maintain and expand client relationships through clear communication and reliable service.
- Oversee design and production of civil construction plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Prepare proposals, project scopes, and budgets for new and ongoing work.
- Conduct quality control reviews and ensure compliance before submission to agencies.

A growing Texas-based civil engineering and land development consultancy is seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of development projects. This position offers the opportunity to lead project delivery efforts while mentoring junior staff and collaborating closely with clients, consultants, and reviewing agencies.
- 5+ years of experience in land development design.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred (or ability to obtain in Texas).
- Proficiency in Civil 3D and familiarity with relevant design and project management software.
- Minimum 2 years of experience leading projects or teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Deep understanding of site development design including utilities, paving, grading, and drainage.
