Investigate accidents, incidents, or near-misses to determine root causes and recommend preventive measures or improvements.
Evaluate safety practices, procedures, facilities, and job sites to assess risks and ensure adherence to OSHA, local, state, and federal regulations.
Handle worker’s compensation claims and related documentation.
Use a continuous improvement approach to engage field personnel, superintendents, and leadership in achieving company safety objectives.
Conduct regular training sessions on health and safety matters, accident prevention, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Identify improvement opportunities, recommend solutions to safety issues, and implement new prevention measures.
Administer and monitor the implementation of all required protective equipment across job sites.
Develop, execute, and enforce health and safety plans, policies, and procedures to foster a proactive safety culture.
Prepare, maintain, and submit all required records, reports, and statistics related to health, safety, incidents, and awareness programs.
Oversee and coordinate on-site job hazard analyses (JHA) for all projects.

Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Safety Manager, preferably in the construction industry on large commercial and industrial projects.
Proven ability to produce detailed reports, develop policies, conduct data analysis, and perform risk assessments.
Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal abilities.
Hands-on experience with crane and rigging operations required.
Excellent organizational, motivational, and observational skills with outstanding attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook).
BS/BA in safety management, occupational health and safety, or equivalent relevant field experience preferred.
In-depth knowledge of legal health and safety guidelines, including OSHA standards.
Current certifications: OSHA 30-hour, OSHA 500-hour, First Aid, and CPR.
