  • Assist in the design and coordination of roadway projects for government agencies such as; City, County and State DOT
  • Specific tasks that you will perform include design calculations, quantity, and cost estimates, developing design specifications, alignment and profile design, and plan preparation
  • You will learn the industry by attending client meetings and taking meeting minutes.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or similar degree from an accredited school
  • You will have the ability to prepare, read and understand construction plans and technical documents and have a functional understanding of design software packages, specifically MS Excel, MS Word and preferably MicroStation.
  • Candidates must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record. Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic will allow you to excel in this position.
  • Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and registration as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) is a condition of employment and must be achieved at the time of hire or within six (6) months of the start date to maintain employment.
  • Seeking 1-4 years of experience in Transportation engineering or related field is preferred.
