Reporting to the General Manager, the Maintenance Manager oversees the mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic upkeep of production machinery and support equipment. Responsibilities include coordinating maintenance activities with production supervisors, driving Maximo CMMS usage, and ensuring optimal equipment performance.
Key duties involve supervising workers during setup, installation, and repair tasks, interpreting blueprints and job orders, estimating labor needs, and providing preventive care. The manager also develops training plans, manages capital projects, and ensures departmental safety practices are followed.
The ideal candidate is energetic, success‑driven, and technically proficient, with strong leadership, team‑building, problem‑solving, and time‑management abilities. As a role model, they prioritize safety to achieve Zero Harm outcomes.
A technical degree is preferred, and candidates must have extensive experience in industrial electrical (3‑phase) controls, mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, and machining. Prior experience as a Maintenance Manager, knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, and proficiency with Microsoft Office are required; steel‑wire manufacturing experience is a plus.
